California Motocross Park is made up of multiple motorcycle and atv tracks on a 158 acre facility, including a 250,000 square foot Supercross style racing stadium at the base of a 130,000 square foot complimentary retail facility complete with arcade and restaurant.  29 premium sky boxes over looking the stadium, seating for 14,000 spectators and televised amateur racing events are but 3 of the highlights of the stadium design.  An ABA BMX track, 150’ x 540’ Covered Motocross Track, a permanent Supermotard track designed as a “Supermotoagogo” look a like track with over under bridge, an Enduro Challenge Course, Vintage Motocross Track, a National quality and length motocross course, an ATV/QUAD Only Track and two small cc engine Kids Tracks. Our current test track was built by Kurt Henricksen http://www.khmxschool.com/, track builder of the NMA. The facility will be open 365 days and will have scheduled practice and racing events year round.

Noise is not a problem at the facility. Harris, Miller, Miller and Hansen has provided the necessary computer modeling of the facility to ensure that once built, California Motocross Park is a good neighbor. As part of an over 1,000 acre master plan that encompasses the surrounding Industrial area, California Motocross Park will easily blend in amongst the industrial uses while providing a buffer for the County of Placer’s Landfill and Municipal Recovery Facility. The track is adjacent to and shares a common property line to the Landfill is just down the street from Thunder Valley Casino. A new multistory hotel is in the works as part of Thunder Valley’s expansion and will be a welcome addition to the area.

California Motocross is easily accessible from all areas, directly off of Interstate 80 to Highway 65’s Sunset Boulevard Exit. The new Sunset Athens Extension road just completed will exit one half mile from the entrance to the Park making direct access from the freeway very easy.
